The historic centre of San Giovanni Rotondo is a small quarter of alleys, arches and stairways that keeps the soul of the town as it was before Padre Pio's fame. Twenty minutes' walk is enough to discover stone doorways, small churches and quiet corners.
It is the right place for a coffee away from the tourist circuit, where local life carries on.
